Frances Wood is available to give presentations and conduct workshops.

Her lively presentations are usually accompanied with color slides. These presentations are especially appropriate for Audubon chapter meetings, writers' groups and conferences, birding festivals, courses on nature or the environment, library programs and other civic meetings. They usually last approximately one hour.

Frances' workshops are more informal and often longer in length. Activities and discussion are woven into her presentation. She has given workshops and classes on nature writing, illustrated journaling as well as a variety of birding subjects.

Presentations for birding audiences are available on the following topics. Links are provided to descriptions of the presentations.

Presentations for writing conferences cover these topics.

  • Nature writing
  • Writing local and family history
  • Illustrated journaling
  • Writing for newspapers
